Pranayama, the best breathing exercises and their effects
Depending on which breathing exercise you choose, you can achieve different effects. Whether stress, anxiety, anger, nervousness or pain: there is virtually no area in which you cannot improve something with a targeted breathing technique.
The term “pranayama” therefore refers to the conscious regulation and deepening of breathing through mindfulness and constant practice. As breathing is the carrier of life energy, prana can also be translated as “breath” - in its original use, however, the term has a wider range of meanings.
Meditation is a mental training that is intended to help you become calmer and more relaxed - not only while practising, but also during stressful situations in everyday life. What all meditation methods have in common is that the practitioner concentrates on the here and now and learns to let go of mental tension, among other things.
As an experienced Yoga Teacher, I will introduce you to the world of Pranayama & Meditation, that you can bring more relaxation & quality of life into your everyday life and thus build up more resilience to hectic stress situations.
The Pranayama & Meditation lessons take place exclusively on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
